Rotary Club of The Villages Noon Supports Jingle Build Off 2022

Rotary of the Villages Noon is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity Lake-Sumter and has been participating in their Jingle Build Off competition for the past several years. Through this initiative they have not only raised close to $3,000 per year for Habitat’s mission of building affordable homes but has also made a lasting impact on the children they have built playhouses for. In 2022, Rotary built a shark-themed playhouse for three deserving children of the Nafield family. Rotary along with over 100 other volunteers constructed and decorated playhouses in downtown Tavares, working diligently to see the look on the children’s faces as they see their playhouse for the first time. Little Carter saw his name above the door of the playhouse and lit up with much animation upon recognizing the playhouse was HIS own little home! It’s moments like this that reinforce the community driven partnership between Rotary and Habitat for Humanity Lake-Sumter.
