Fire Safety Week — Inspiring Safety Through Storytelling
Each year, the Rotary Club of The Villages Noon partners with local elementary schools to help young students learn lifesaving lessons about fire safety in a fun and memorable way. During Fire Safety Week, our members visit first-grade classrooms to share personalized storybooks that make every child the hero of their own safety adventure. It’s one of our favorite projects of the year — filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of seeing children excited about protecting themselves and their families.
Service Above Self in Action
Even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, our volunteers show up with enthusiasm and heart. These visits spark conversations about planning escape routes, testing smoke alarms, and knowing when to call for help — simple actions that can make all the difference. Through this program, our club continues its commitment to strengthening community safety, one classroom at a time.
